Marché de Noël Éthique et Vegan de Toulouse

The Marché de Noël Éthique et Vegan de Toulouse takes place on Saturday 12 December 2026 at Place Saint-Pierre, the lively square beside the Garonne in the heart of Toulouse. It is the fourth edition, and the whole market is built around ethical gifts and 100% vegan food. Toulouse has plenty of traditional Christmas stalls, but this is the one where nothing on sale involves animal products.

Behind it is J'agis pour les animaux - Toulouse, a collective of local animal-protection groups. The 2025 edition was credited to the Mouvement pour la cause animale with support from L214, and the animal-advocacy stalls are a big part of the day. Last year's line-up included AVF, Sea Shepherd and AnimÔ 31, so you can chat with campaigners as well as shop. Alongside them you will find crafts, ethical gifts and vegan food to eat on the spot, with activities for all ages that make it an easy outing with children.

Opening hours are 10:00-18:00, and entry is free. The market is outdoors on a public square, so a warm coat is wise in a Toulouse December, even though the south-west is milder than much of France. Place Saint-Pierre is a few minutes' walk from the Capitole area, so it is simple to reach on foot from the old town, and the city's metro and tram network covers the centre.
