Vegan Christmas Market (Vegan Society Luxembourg)

The Vegan Christmas Market run by the Vegan Society Luxembourg (VSL) returns on 5-6 December 2026 at the Centre Culturel de Bonnevoie, in the Bonnevoie district of Luxembourg City. The market has been held every year since 2016, and 2025 was its tenth anniversary, which makes 2026 the eleventh edition. Everything on sale is fully vegan, and it is a firm date for the country's plant-based community.

The 2025 programme gives a good idea of what to expect. There was plant-based food, gift stalls, Glühwein, a visit from St. Nicholas, a tombola, kids' activities and a photo booth. Nothing has been published yet about the 2026 line-up, so treat that list as a guide to the format rather than a promise, and follow the society's Instagram for the final stall list. The St. Nicholas visit lines up with 6 December, the saint's day, which is a nice touch for families.

Opening hours for 2026 have not been announced yet. For reference, the 2025 edition ran Saturday 12:00-20:00 and Sunday 11:00-18:00, and the organiser will confirm the 2026 times closer to the date. Admission details are also not confirmed, so check before you go. The market is indoors in a cultural centre, which keeps it comfortable whatever the Luxembourg weather does. Some listing sites still show the 2025 weekend, which was one day later, but the organiser's save-the-date confirms 5-6 December 2026 for this year's market.

Bonnevoie is a residential district just south of the main railway station, and the market is easy to reach by city bus or on foot from the station area.

Luxembourg City is compact, so a vegan Advent weekend here pairs the market with a walk through the old town.
