About Vegan Street Fair

Vegan Street Fair has evolved from an annual flagship festival into LA's defining monthly vegan ritual, with 2026 running a full year of monthly editions anchored at 1036 Broxton Avenue in Westwood — the largest pedestrian plaza in Los Angeles. The format stays consistent: free outdoor entry, 30+ food vendors, live entertainment and a rotating cast of lifestyle brands, with editions shifting between daytime and evening depending on season.

The 2026 calendar kicked off with the flagship 28-29 March weekend in Westwood, with additional monthly dates confirmed through April, May, August (night edition) and October (back to daytime), plus more added rolling through the year. Each edition has its own theme and vendor mix, so regulars build it into their calendar without worrying about repetition. The Westwood Village location puts the fair in the middle of UCLA student territory with strong foot traffic, excellent metro access via the Expo Line extension, and enough nearby parking garages to handle the weekend crowds.

Beyond LA, Vegan Street Fair licences the format to sister events in other cities — historically including Houston, Orlando and New York — though the monthly LA edition is the true home ground. The vendor mix skews toward LA's legendary vegan food scene: expect jackfruit tacos, plant-based Korean barbecue, vegan sushi, dairy-free ice cream sandwiches, raw desserts, cold-pressed juices and a growing contingent of vegan craft beer and natural wine booths. Live DJs spin across the fair from late morning to sunset (or sunset to night on evening editions).

Entry is always free to walk in — the fair makes its money from optional tasting passes and VIP packages that get you priority lines and exclusive samples. Most attendees just pay per vendor as they go. Practical tip: Westwood gets hot from May through September, so either come before noon or opt for the August night edition when temperatures drop and the plaza turns into a proper street party. Check veganstreetfair.com/losangeles for confirmed monthly dates and ticket tier add-ons, and follow Instagram for vendor lineup drops the week before each event.
