Bristol Vegan Christmas Market

The Bristol Vegan Christmas Market runs on Saturday 12 December 2026 at the Elmgrove Centre in Redland, a leafy neighbourhood a little north of the city centre. The venue is a former Anglican church from the 1870s, and the market fills it with 40 to 50+ fully vegan stalls. It won Best Vegan Market and Regional Event at the 2024 VegFest Awards, which is a fair sign of how well it is run in a city that already takes vegan food seriously.

Bristol is the last of the three Vegan Christmas Market Co dates this winter, so it is the one to catch if you want gifts in time for the final stretch before Christmas. Expect vegan food and drinks, handmade gifts, crafts, cards and cruelty-free beauty from independent traders, with the organiser's usual charity stalls and the FARS animal sanctuary in attendance. Families are well looked after: there are kids' crafts, free letters to Santa and free soft play, which makes it one of the easier Christmas outings for small children.

Opening hours are 10:00 to 16:00. Entry is GBP 3 on the door, and under-16s are free with a paying adult. The organiser's Instagram once mentioned a Saturday 13th, but 13 December 2026 is a Sunday, and the official website and the other posts all say Saturday 12 December. Getting there is simple by train: Redland station is under 5 minutes' walk from the venue, with frequent services from Bristol Temple Meads via Clifton Down. Redland also has its own cafes and independent shops along Whiteladies Road and Gloucester Road side streets, so it is worth making a half day of it.
