NLVegan Fair

NLVegan Fair is the flagship event of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Veganisme (NVV) — the Dutch Vegan Society — and returns for its third edition on Saturday, 19 September 2026 inside one of Rotterdam's most stunning venues: the Laurenskerk, a late-Gothic church dating from the 15th century and the only surviving medieval building in central Rotterdam after the Second World War. The contrast between soaring Gothic architecture and a thoroughly modern plant-based marketplace is part of what makes this fair feel so distinctive.

Positioned as "the meeting place for the vegan community" in the Netherlands, the fair is equal parts marketplace, tasting hall, shopping destination and lecture series. Visitors can discover a wide range of Dutch and international vegan products and services, sample and shop across dozens of vendor stands, and draw inspiration from a full day of speakers and activities. Around the main stage, expect tasting stations, cooking demonstrations, children's activities, non-profit and advocacy booths, and a marketplace that leans strongly toward Dutch-made vegan food, plant-based fashion, sustainable beauty and ethical lifestyle brands — with enough international presence to keep things globally interesting. Because it's a single-day, fully indoor event, the pace is brisk and the weather is never a factor, making it one of the more reliably-delivered vegan events in the European calendar.
