About Veggienale & FairGoods Berlin
The Veggienale & FairGoods series is Germany's most polished travelling plant-based lifestyle fair, and the Berlin 2026 edition is its biggest stop of the year. Held at the sprawling FEZ Wuhlheide — Europe's largest non-profit children's and youth centre, set in 150,000 square metres of parkland in Berlin's south-east — the fair combines a curated vegan marketplace with an unusually strong family programme.
The 2026 edition runs Saturday 18 April from 10:00 to 18:00 and Sunday 19 April from 10:00 to 17:00. The marketplace draws exhibitors from Germany and beyond across several clearly signed zones: vegan food and drink, clean beauty and natural cosmetics, fair fashion and accessories, vegan street food, green living and eco-lifestyle, sustainable finance, and zero-waste startups. Expect to discover new launches here months before they hit supermarkets — the Veggienale is a favourite trade-tasting ground for emerging plant-based brands.
Programming goes beyond the stalls. A main stage hosts live cooking shows and panel discussions on nutrition, ethics, environment, and endurance sport. The Green Planet Berlin exhibition tackles sustainable urban planning, while a Greenpeace-run clothing swap and a green jobs wall give visitors concrete next steps. For families, there's interactive puppet theatre, creative workshops, and dedicated kids' catering — making this one of the most kid-friendly fairs of its size in Europe.
Tickets are €9 online / €11 at the door (reduced: €7/€8). Children up to 14 enter free, as do companions of visitors with disabilities — a deliberately inclusive pricing model. The FEZ Wuhlheide is reachable via S-Bahn S3 to Wuhlheide, then a short walk through the woods, or by tram from Karlshorst and Schöneweide. The indoor-outdoor flow of the FEZ means weather is never a deal-breaker, though the surrounding forest is worth a detour if the April sun cooperates. Veggienale previously visited Berlin in 2020 and 2023; the 2026 return is the largest format yet.
