About VeggieWorld Munich

VeggieWorld rolls into Munich on 7-8 November 2026, marking the final German leg of Wellfairs GmbH's annual VeggieWorld tour before the calendar resets. The show has called the MTC world of fashion at Taunusstraße 45 its home in recent years, a versatile exhibition complex in the northern Milbertshofen district with five halls spanning roughly 6,000 m², direct A9 autobahn access and around 1,000 on-site parking spaces.

Munich matters for VeggieWorld because Bavaria is still, in statistical terms, one of the more meat-committed regions of Germany, and the fair has positioned itself explicitly as a recruiting event for the plant-curious. Expect the usual VeggieWorld mix: meat and dairy alternatives, plant-based cheese, chocolate, protein bars, oat-based drinks, vegan fashion, cruelty-free cosmetics and sustainable household goods across 100+ exhibitors. The catering area leans hearty, think vegan schnitzel, Leberkäs alternatives, sweet Bavarian-style pastries and the usual food-truck rotation of burgers, bowls and crêpes.

The Rahmenprogramm (supporting programme) across both days typically features short cooking demos, panels on nutrition and sustainability, and Q&As with exhibitors. It's consumer-focused rather than activist-heavy, which makes it a comfortable day out for flexitarians dragging sceptical partners along. A children's programme is usually run by partner animal welfare organisations, and the venue is fully buggy-accessible.

Opening hours follow the standard VeggieWorld rhythm: 10:00-18:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Ticket sales for the 2026 Munich edition were flagged as "opening soon" on the official site as of spring 2026, so sign up to the VeggieWorld newsletter if you want early-bird pricing. Expect door prices around €14-16 with cheaper advance rates.

Getting there is easy: U-Bahn U6 to Nordfriedhof or bus 50 from Münchner Freiheit drops you close to Taunusstraße, and the venue is a 15-minute drive from Munich Hauptbahnhof or 10 minutes from the A9. If you're travelling internationally, it's a natural pairing with a weekend in Munich's Glockenbachviertel or Schwabing, both of which have grown noticeably stronger vegan restaurant scenes over the past five years. Combine with a visit to the Englischer Garten if the weather holds, early November can be crisp but bright in Bavaria.
